To celebrate October 10, I thought it would be interesting to look at the spiritual significance behind the 1010 number.
It may be strange to think that numbers can have spiritual significance, but like everything in the universe, numbers carry a vibration, and their vibrations can serve as messengers and tools of change.
The Universe always speaks to us through signs, and one of the simplest ways to send a sign is through numbers. Numbers are part of the creative force of the Universe and this has been recognized by the likes of Tesla and the ancients who built pyramids and structures using certain patterns of numbers and sacred geometry.
10 is a powerful number that is associated with reaching a new karmic and spiritual level. It's about taking this step to the next chapter so you can advance your life at all levels.
We all enter this life with a journey or a mission. This mission is the one that is sculpted by our soul before entering our body. We know as a soul that we can forget our mission and go off piste, but it's all part of the journey and part of the game of life.
Getting off the track is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is better to move in life on the right track with the purpose of your soul. Often, it's not so much what we do or the type of career we choose, but rather what we feel day to day.
When we wake up, hopeful, positive and meaningful, it is usually a sign that we are on the right track. This can be the case even if we are in a job that is not always rewarding, or in a relationship that experiences ups and downs.
As spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle suggests, raising your level of consciousness and spirituality has nothing to do with what you do, but rather how you do it. Each act can be transformed into one that serves spiritual growth and development, it simply depends on how you choose to look at things.
Our state of mind is powerful, so even when "bad" things happen, if we can change our perspective and see the silver lining, we are already improving our consciousness and evolving to that next level.
When we reach this new level or layer in our lives, we often experience increasing changes or pains. At this new level, we need to readjust and understand what will help us and what will hold us back.
On a day like 10/10, we all have the ability to become aware of what this next level might look like. We can also get a glimpse of what we need to give up or how we need to change our mindset to move on to this next level.
In order to get rid of the past, to let go in order to reach new heights, one must forgive. Forgiveness is one of the most powerful and healing things you can do for yourself.
Forgiving yourself is a good place to start, but forgiving others can also be just as powerful. Forgiveness is not about tolerating or supporting the act, it is about releasing any anger or negative emotion that keeps you attached to the event or the person.
10/10 is the perfect time to practice forgiveness. Start by writing yourself a letter of forgiveness, then include others or situations you might wish to forgive.
You don't have to send the letter or involve other people, this type of work is purely for you and allows you to free yourself from any negative or stressful attachment that weighs you down.
Once you've erased using forgiveness, you can also use the 10/10 energy to visualize and manifest what you want to create. Think about what you want this new chapter to look like to you. Think about how you can do things differently this time in order to feed your limits and growth.
We all have the opportunity to do things again, we all have the opportunity to move our lives forward and take it to the next level.
On 10/10, the bridge will appear, and if we pay attention and are ready for it, we will be raised to this new level, where we can continue to grow and prosper as we return home.
